Quotes from ProModChallenge.com
Burton Auxier claimed the 2009 NHRA Pro Mod Challenge Championship on November 1 in Las Vegas. He earned the championship through excellent, consistent racing all year. This is a major statement by a nitrous racer who showed this year that nitrous Pro Mods can battle it out with the best of the Pro Mod field and come out on top.
The highlight of Auxier’s season was winning in Bristol. In addition, he was runner-up at two races. He qualified for every race. “Consistency was a big key for us,” Auxier said. “I was always given a consistent car capable of winning on any given day, and I was with a great crew and got some help from some of the smartest people out here. When you’re racing with the best in the business, you’re supposed to be able to win these things.”
Auxier wasn’t the only Al-Anabi team member making a statement in Vegas. Mike Castellana took home the $25,000 prize as the winner of the Pro Mod Clash, which was run between the top 8 drivers in points. He earned the victory over Auxier in an all Al-Anabi final round. Castellana said, “It really is a privilege to win this, because these cars were the very best. The competition is fierce, and it really means a lot to us as a team to win this Clash.”
Reher-Morrison Racing Engines is proud to congratulate both Burton and Mike on their accomplishments with their Reher-Morrison Pro Mod engines. November 1 ended a Championship week for Al-Anabi with Khalid Al-Balooshi winning the ADRL Pro Nitrous Championship and ADRL World Finals the previous weekend. Reher-Morrison applauds the expertise of Speedtech Nitrous, the great effort of the Al-Anabi team, and the hard work of the Reher-Morrison staff, especially Brad Morgan. Reher-Morrison is constantly working with Speedtech to improve these engines and will work hard throughout the off season to make them even better. These championship-caliber nitrous Pro Mod racers will be ready to continue the winning trend in 2010.

I hope someday you get back into Pro Stock Racing
