Sniper-XL Fully CNC Cylinder Heads
Certain classes mandate “Non raised port” 24° conventional BBC cylinder heads. Reher Morrison and Profiler have come up with the next generation BBC conventional head for these classes. Instead of taking a current head platform and trying to optimize it further, we started with a clean sheet of paper! We optimized the over all design of the standard port location BBC cylinder head and many changes where made to the overall design but all where internal. Externally the head is 100% conventional and set side by side is almost indistinguishable from any other aluminum 24° BBC cylinder head. The main difference is valve sizing, location and port efficiency. These modifications and optimizations add up to a 60-80+hp increase.

(2) Floor to deck measurement (495-.500 off deck)
(3) Completely re-designed valve train for high RPM stability.
(4) Increased fulcrum length rocker arms for better valve train geometry with cams in excess of .850” lift.
